Try changing your driving style, be very gentle on the gas and let off if you are going downhill or if possible put your car into neutral... I have a 97 SW1 and im getting about 40MPG on it, change your air filter, its very common that that one part gets overlooked and will cause your MPG to go down faster than a cheap date. Also, make sure that the trans shifting style selector (the little button that says "Norm" and "Sport" I believe is set to Norm)
