I just got a 2003 l200 and the low coolant light stays on but the fill jug is full

check the coolant level sensor in the bottom of the reservoir, might be dirty, wiring issue, or it failed.

got reservoir tank off and soaking in dawn right now but found small leak in bottom of radiator could that be the cause

still having problem if anyone has a suggestion

Having same problem!! Did you get an answer on what the problem was?

replaced radiator cleaned tank light still comes on, i just keep an eye on my fluid level to make sure it stays at proper level
