my 1995 Chevy Suburban service engine light comes on and it doesn't shift right, when the service engine light turns off it shifts just fine?

Seems there is a fault, have the car scanned for the codes to find out what the issue is. You might be able to pull a transmission code. Don't wait too long. Your local auto parts store can scan the vehicle for you, post the 4 digit code back here.

I'll give it a a shot, I herd the truck has the old scanner, but I will put code up soon


Ok it says P 0456 evaporation emissions
