When you mash the braks the motor dies
When I mash the brakes,the motors dies,What would cause this? ! have a 2001 L series L30 ECM.
I think you have a leak in your brake booster. It runs off vacuum. That's why it's killing your engine. Check your vacuum hose for cracks. A good way to test the booster is to apply the brakes several times with the engine off (to pump out the reserved vacuum). With your foot holding down the brake pedal, turn the engine on. If the brake pedal does not drop, check the vacuum hose to be sure that it is secure and proper vacuum is entering the booster. If the hose and vacuum source are not faulty, repair or replace the booster. This test works for the new booster to be sure that its installation went well.
