Where can you find out the actual production number for one ion redline?
Just out of curiosity, I would like to know the production number of my RL off
the assembly line.
Is that information available and how can one get that info?
is there a car club???
You can call GM Customer Service to get more info on your car, have your VIN ready.
There where 2460 Saturn Red Lines produced in 2004 and the numbers are even less if it was / is a Canadian car. Im guessing your is the blue one in the pic so here is production numbers. There where 782 Electric Blue ION Red Lines in 2004. Thats all I could find online. I agree with Tom call General Motors.
The sequential unit number of your ION is the last six digits of the vehicle identification number (VIN). Usually GM begins with 100001 for the first car off the plant's assembly line. For your specific make and model you'll have to look at the trim tag or RPO sticker and read the body number. GM can help you find that on your Saturn. HTH. -Jim
Thanks for your help. I did call the GM Service line. Nice people. Very helpful. I did look at the last 6 numbers in the vin. I was hoping for a lower number. Lol.
You're welcome. Glad to help. -Jim
