2005 T&C Overheating

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Hey all, noob to the forum and noob to this car.

I have a 2005 Chrysler T&C that is overheating. Last week I was leaking cooland. I found
a leak in the exhaust flange and replaced it, the hose and the thermostat. We drove about
300 miles and all was well. Now she is overheating. I removed thermostat, no change.
Replaced Thermostat, no change.

The coolant no longer leaks. Reservoir is still full. Heat inside not working properly either.
It's kinda "warm" but just barely. I reset the heating system. Both radiator fans are still
working. I checked the return hose and tried to remove the radiator car, but it does not
remove completely, only twists up to depressurize.

Where do I look for a clog in the radiator? I bought a new water pump but havent installed
yet. What are the other things I should be looking for?

Thanks! Jason

You should be able to remove the radiator cap. If your radiator cap is doing something where you can't get it off, perhaps that's your problem even though it's keeping a fair amount of pressure in
