How long will a car run well after it has over 100K miles on it?
I'm simply asking about used cars and their "life span" since I'm going to be
buying used for the first time. That may sound odd, but it's true, I'm
unemployed, receiving SSDI monthly and hope to be employed very soon.
Which will increase my spending limit.
There is no simple answer to your question, but with proper maintenance, most cars today will last well over 200K. Depends on how much money you want to spend on keeping it in tip top shape. I'd recommend having your mechanic look over a vehicle you'd like to purchase before you sign for it. A small fee in knowing that you have a safe vehicle for years to come.
Also check for actual problems people have had with the car you are looking at or might be interested in, and find something that is still being made, nothing like a Saturn, Suzuki, etc. also stay away from KIa, and Mitsubishi unless buying brand new. HTH
My question is im looking at a 2009 pt cruiser on Kimi looks good for 700 that's not what scares me it's the kilometers there is 25000 on it
Just the name PR Cruiser scares me. This will be a wallet drainer if not right away then very soon.
I have had mine for 9 years. Just regular maintenance and tires and brakes. Still love it.
