2007 GMC Yukon Random Brake lights coming on!!

Asked by Chad Apr 07, 2016 at 09:39 PM about the 2007 GMC Yukon SLT1

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My 07 yukon just starTed throwing up the red
brake light along with the traction control yellow
triangle while dinging. Also the messenger center
says service brake system. All these things come
up spontaneously and only last for about 30
seconds, then it all goes away, and back to normal.
What's up with this? The traction control button
has NOT been pressed when this happens. U the
way.

More than likely you should have your brake system looked at first. It may just be a sensor.

First check the e-brake that it is not inadvertently on slightly, otherwise yes, it should be taken in to be looked at.
