vehicle won't start
I have a2001 Yukon that won't start... I have checked the batteries and alternator...
recently replaced the fuel pump. one day it started then shut off and now it won't start.
what am I missing?
Start by checking all fuses and relays. I hate to say this, but you should probably have the fuel pressure tested. even though you put in a new pump, it could still be bad. happens a lot unfortunately.
I have a 92 Yukon SLE a two door I replace the fuel filter ignition module to coil and my vehicle still haven't started up I'm having problems trying to start it I don't know which fuse is diffuse I have to check for the motor or I replaced the fuel relay and all and I'm still having problems please give me some understanding about this vehicle
You might have the fuel pressure tested Adam. It has to meet a certain specification or it won't run.
how do I do that I'm thinking it could be the ECU cuz the guy I bought the truck from said that it was a short in the wire somewhere
You have to hook up a fuel pressure gauge to the fuel line under the hood. If you don't own a fuel gauge or know how to do it you can buy one and google the procedure, or have an experienced mechanic do it. Also if you have a short in wiring there are procedures to locate them. I would suggest a YouTube vide on the subject. They can be very helpful.
I have a 2000 Yukon Denali and it just turns over like its out of gas but tanks is half full and when I let key go from trying to start it tries to start
