How do I make the cigarette lighter stay on?

I used to have an old Saturn and one of the things I
loved was I could charge my phone even if the cars
ignition was not because I am up in the woods a
lot with no direct power available. However I got a
new car ( 2006 kia spectra) and am unable to do
this now. How can I make the power to the
cigarette lighter stay on even if the ignition is off?

You need to wire it to a circuit that is on all the time or wire it directly to the battery with an inline fuse.
