whats wrong with my 1995 camaro
whenever i get in my car it starts up fine. but as soon as i put it into drive
and press the gas to accelerate it revs loudly and starts to go but doesnt
really have any kick to it. it acts very sluggish . lets just say it doesnt drive
like a 3.8L camaro should. but when i drop it down into first gear and try to
take off it works just fine. im guessing it is a trans problem but i dont know
where to start or if its worth it. please help
The tranny maybe getting stuck in high or second gear instead of downshifting when you come to a stop, could be a sticky solenoid or the control module, the best thing to do is to have a tranny shop plug in and run thier series of tests on the control solenoids and control unit, then they can tell you what is wrong and how much too fix.
Thanks for the points.
