What is the selling price of my 1995 Camaro Z28 convertible in good condition with 44K one it? One owner.

Asked by May 31, 2015 at 01:35 PM about the 1995 Chevrolet Camaro Z28 Convertible RWD

Question type: General

I must sell my Baby girl for health reasons as I'm a great grandmother and want to get the best price for her without being cheated. Her color is Moon-glow and she has 44K miles on her. I bought her new. I am a widow so have no one to ask. Thanks! The new car manager of Dar Cars offered me $5K for her last year and was very anxious to buy her.

Since you have no pictures and based on 44K with a very good body/interior, no mechanical problems, no chipped/cracked glass, and rims/tires in good condition, the minimum offer you should accept would be 8000 firm. The manager is lowballing you. He wants to buy from you for 5000 then he'll mark it up to AT LEAST 8-9 grand. He'll make a profit while you got underpaid for the car.

I have a 94 z28 camero needs work but the body is great... It has a leak in the exhaust system and needs gaskets

How much should I sell it for? Also... Does anyone want to buy it?

RussRuby, if you are referring to it needing head gaskets, it might just cost anywhere between 1030.00 to 2000.00; exhaust system leak may be no more than $500, so take that into consideration when selling. Since there are no pictures & you didn't mention the mileage but you say the body is great, this is the info I found from kbb.com, standard options/based on 80,000 miles): $3039.00 (to a private seller) IF it: Has minor cosmetic defects and is in excellent mechanical condition Has had minor paint touch-up and/or bodywork Requires minimal reconditioning The engine compartment is clean and free of leaks Is free of rust The body and interior have minimal signs of wear or visible defects Wheels are flawless All tires match and have 75% or more of tread remaining Has a clean title history and will pass a safety and smog inspection Most service records are available But because you have problems you might get considerably less. Unless you stand firm for maybe $3000 (because of the body) and then list it as "mechanic's special".
