Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Keeps burning up coils
intermittent spark

1 Answer

Check for trouble codes, burnt out coils can be caused from over voltage to the coil, high restance in the plug wires, distributor cap and or rotor, missing ot loose coil ground. I have even seen bad engine grounds cause strange ignition and running problems.
