I have a 1995 chevrolet beretta and it keeps
sputtering everytime i step on the gas and
sputters also when idling and it has a hard
time sometimes going up hill..i changed the
spark plugs n spark plug wires and also
change the fuel filter..n it still sputters..i do
not know what it could be..and everytine i
put it into reverse the engine makes a noise
like a motor moute loose or something..any
help with this problem..i been trying to figure
it out but nothing at all.
any lights lit up on the dash to indicate a problem? get the car on a lift to determine what mount is broken?
i just want to know what the problem is for it to be causing it to putter. sometimes when I hit up to 55-65 mph the car shakes.
Without more information we can only guess. Have the trouble codes read and post them here. Try some fuel system cleaner and see if that helps.
i do not know what could be causing the car to sputter. diagnostic wont read the car even the engine light is on..someone said my car is too old for one of those diagnostic readers. I tried those fuel injector cleaners but it did not help..where I live people will hardly help with fixing cars or even to chekk it over.
