Is replacing the ecu in a 96 tahoe something you can do yourself

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Bought it flashed, is the more
programming involved? There was no
modifications to the motor just a bad
ecu.

Should be no more programming, when they flash it, it sets all the settings to you vehicle specs. Kind of easy to do, take out the glove box and it is up on the right side, The hardest thing to do is to get the bracket undone. I couldn't get my bracket back in, so it sits in a secure spot anyway, not worried about it.
