how to replace 1996 chevrolet blower motor resistor

The resistor block is located near the blower motor. Either under the dash on the passengers side or in the engine compartment on the passengers side on the firewall. It will have a 5 way electrical connector plugged into it. Unplug the connector first then remove the screw(s), one or two usually, that secure it to the heater box. HTH. -Jim

It was in front of the blower motor which is under the dash on the passenger side. Thanks!
