the top of my 1996 cavilier convertable will not go up or down I think it is the moter  any ideas where I can get them  Gary Saxe

I have the same car and I have found that the switch is not making good contact. clean it up as best you can then try, if this doesnt work check the fuses. The motor would be the last thing I would look at.
