The car has a new main battery so won't be that. Suspect is is the back up battery. Took out fuse 7 from passenger compartment that stops the backup alarm going off. trouble is the back doors now have to be locked manually and if unlocking more than a few minutes later the fob does not do it; have to do it by key then quickly get key in ignition so stop main alarm sounding too long!! New back up module is £145 plus VAT from Jaguar as it may be the battery in that unit. Waiting for Jaguar chap to visit and connect up computer first before spending money! Thanks for your comments.
