i was changing my water pump and when i removed the water pump coolant ran out the block all over the distributor and right after it cranked fine but i guess after the coolant got to the distrbutor i turn the key and i have to hold it and pump the gas pedal to get it to start and im trying to see what happened and what i can do to fix it! Thank you
first rince coolent off with water let dry then remove cop and look for moisture if any dry ouy and replace,if still not right may need new cap.what year is it if early 80 and up electronic ingition on cars getting wet would really bother it.
its an 1996 and a friend of mine told me just to let it dry out over time but it still continues to have that problem! should i just replace the entire optispark?
since a 96 i would have it scaned autozone will do this for free.
