Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I got a 1994 Buick Skylark when the door opens
when the keys in the ignition and turns it off or you
even hit the door handle the dome lights in my car
turn on and then it's like 30 seconds or something
maybe a minute until they finally dim and they go
off but is there a way to stop them from doing the
whole dimming process because it's killing my cars
battery .Or how do I just I pop the fuse out so they
just don't work at all. Any help ??
