Car won't start

I have a 1997 Buick Skylark 3.1 litre. Starts right up in the morning, able to drive it to where I need to go, but once I turn it off I can't start it up again. It usually takes anywhere from a 1/2 hour up to 1 hour before it will start it again. I replaced the fuel filter and fuel injection regulator, but that doesn't seem to help

Try holding your accelerator to the floor. If this works your engine is flooding with gasoline. Probably a leaky fuel injector, if that's the case.
