1992 roadmaster just running while was driving

Your question is questionable. Yes the engine is suppose to be running while driving, no you should not be running along side the car while trying to drive it.

sorry it stop running and will not start i have a new battery new alternator starter is about 3 yrs old

There are a few common parts that can cause this, the crank position sensor, the ignition module are in the high failure category, and it would also be a good idea to check the computer for codes even though you don't have a ch close engine light on.
