What would make my 95 Buick Roadmaster Wagon run hot almost immediately? New radiator just installed.

Asked by Nov 14, 2014 at 10:05 AM about the 1995 Buick Roadmaster Estate Wagon RWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Car had been sitting for 2 years.  I put in a new radiator and flushed the lines but it runs hot in just a few minutes. Changed the thermostat and it still does it.  Should the fans be running all the time or in sequence or whatever.

Air in the system. Bad water pump. Start there.
