Question type: Maintenance & Repair

have a '95 Riv supercharged. The coolant fans are calibrated to come at 210. Does anyone have an opinion on the best way to modify this system to have the fans come at a cooler temp; such as 180.

Thank you for your reply. But the way I understand it; the computer controls the temp at which the fan turns on. The sensor only provides coolant temp info to the computer.

I doubt it is computer controlled. Most likely it is a temperature switch which activates a relay. Even if it is computer controlled you could wire up your own system easily with a temperature sensor, relay and fuse feeding the fans. https://www.flex-a-lite.com/accessories/electric-fan- controllers/flex-a-lite-variable-speed-controller-with-thread-in-temperature-sensor.html

And in addition to the previous suggestion, you can connect the wire(s) directly from your battery (hot) post to the wiring to the fans. This way the fans would blow continuously.

Thank you all for your replies. Have an idea what I need to do. Just exploring all possibilities. Just wanted to see what sort of feedback I would get on this question.
