Hazard lights

I just replaced a ignition switch on a 1995 Buick riviera tried it out it works but
my hazard lights don't shut off when I push the hazard lights button down any
thoughts

You probably failed to reset the hazard button in properly. Remove the cover plate and re examine the position of the hazard button.
