cooling fan trouble shooting

I have a 3.8lv6 turbocharged Buick Riviera
cooling fans do work on low speed they are
jumped what can i do to trouble shoot the
problem

You did not say what year but I think they were only made in '84 and '85. If you cannot find the relays for the fans you may need to find a service manual. The way my later Buick works...there is a puller and pusher fan (one in front of the radiator and one behind) They turn of based on the engine temp and if the a/c is on. If one or more of the relays is bad it would give the symptoms you have. All the relays should be the same part number, so if you find them you can switch them around and probably verify which one is bad.
