Replacement instructions for a 95 buick riviera supercharger

Asked by Courier_326 Oct 01, 2011 at 01:18 PM about the 1995 Buick Riviera Supercharged Coupe FWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I own a 95 Riviera with what sounds and acts like has a bad supercharger. It makes a bad rattling noise and has now power. Can drive it but not over 45 MPH. Are there any free instruction on how to replace the unit? I used to work on cars and have experience. Just would like to know the steps, tourgue specs and necessary parts to replace like gaskets...etc.

Have you ever changed your spark plugs and wires? You may just need a tune-up.

Had a bad coil. Replaced and fixed the problem. Now have an overdrive problem. Concerned! Will not stay in overdrive.

Fluid was low buy it didn't help. It has over 170K and don't know when it was last changed. Is it safe to change with high miles? Worried about seals?
