is there a video or directions on how to install a new antenna on a 1996 buic riviera?
Greetings.. I'm not aware of video however I can hope to assist. Go to the passenger's rear of the trunk and pull out/remove the trunk's inter lining and there you will locate the underside of the antenna. Disconnect the antenna's line ( leading from radio) and remove the brackets that securing the antenna's base. Then unscrew the opening from which the antenna set. To replace do the above in reverse. The motor is interchangeable with some other GM products but the brackets may need modifying . By that I mean the bracket can be bent so the motor can be secured appropriately. Good Luck
The antenna if original will look like the attached photo. it is not hard to remove. If you are interested, I rebuild those Delco antenna, you can send me a personal note by clicking on my car picture.
