On a 2006 Toyota Sienna, is there a way to disable the parking lights while the car is running but parked ?
With the cold weather approaching, there times when I sit in the car and listen to the audio
system while waiting for my wife to get off work or complete her shopping. I would like to
disable the parking lights when the car is parked, but still running.
I think if you engage the parking brake, the lights should not be on.
That is exactly when the parking lights shoud be on, to indicate to others that you are in a running car but parked!
Parking brake should not matter. But if you really wanted to, just turn the lights to off.
