Be advised. US vehicles have emissions components that are not supported in Africa. Should you have problems the dealerships are unable to diagnose them for you. I worked in Nigeria for 2 years the the owners of this big company ordered US vehicles and shipped them there. Then when they had issues they wouldn't spend the big money to purchase the software to trouble shoot them. I wouldn't advise you purchase anything from the US as you will wish you purchased locally.

Another consideration is the hassle of getting a vehicle out of the US to Africa! Why? You have the entire Middle East full of TLCs, Europe, and near Asia. For $10,000 you can easily ship a vehicle from Thailand (either LHD or RHD) without the hassle of the US. Unless this is another scam coming out of Africa......

I disagree on the emission considerations. The fact is there are good mechanics in Africa that have proven to solve these problems with just little amount less expensive in comparable terms overseas.Secondly, shipping cars out of the USA to Africa is easy provided that the car in question clears the US customs. I ship to Africa on regular basis with no Hassle but be careful to avoid dealing with bad/scam guys.
