i guess i start by replacing switches ?

There is something in the AC electrical system causing a problem, could be the compressor itself, the pressure switch, or even the head unit controls. Best bet is to obtain a good service manual and look for the troubleshooting section, electrical issues can be tough to resolve.

start by checking the relay, and checking the wiring harnesses for visible damage (burning, bare wires, melted connectors)

I have a 2001 Sonata and it is doing the same thing so if you figure it please let me know cause I am doing the same starting with switches and relays first. Mine cools real good for about 20 minutes and the all of a sudden the fuse blows.....?
