How much is a good paint job on a 97 Tahoe

A REALLY good paint job will cost more than you probably want to spend , it would involved some dis assembly , Then what . put the other rusty parts back together ?

In my area prices have just gone nuts on good paint and body work, got and estimate on my Yukon a few months back and the average was 6000 with a high estimate of over 10 grand, now these were top listed shops in my area with 10 year paint guarantees but those prices really shocked me. But there is still Macco shops, their estimate was right at a grand. So shop around, you never know.
