I have a garage kept 2006 Hyundai Santa Fe with 60,000 miles. The fuel tank needs to be replaced because of leak. Is this common?
I have a 2002, 6 cylinder Santa Fe with 120,000 miles. It generally runs great. Thee only problem I have is after I fill the car with gas, it is difficult to get the car started, and it runs rough for the next minute or so. Has anyone heard of or had this problem? What is the fix?
@papion23 Is the Check Engine Light on? It's maybe is the EVAP canister being purged, running rich for a few minutes. Hyundai issued a TSB Technical Service Bulletin about that very thing http://www.hyundaiproblems.com/tsbs/Santa_Fe/2006/
@hscs, while looking for Hyundai problems, founf nothing about a fuel tank leak as common. Might want to look at the same site as posted above
