been working on my suv for a week it wont start but does turn over, ive already tried my scanner shows p1351 ive ask auto parts they dont give me good details, ive checked control mogeal, crank sencer, ignition coil, fuel regulator, plugs & wires, timing chain, & i hear the fuil pump come on, plus i got someone to start it while i push the fuil rail valve down & gas sprayed out,,,what would you recommend me to try? im out of ideas to try
try ignition switch on the steering column, if not that Check all, and i mean ALL Fuses
p1351 means ignition control circuit high voltage with that being said check actual spark out of coil if no spark than vehicle control module may not be telling it to energize the coil check all fuses as cam said if fuses are good and no spark there could be bad power and ground wires to vcm, bad vcm ( that has to be programed by dealer if new one installed) , bad wires for coil or bad coil if further assistance needed dont hesitate to ask good luck and reply back findings
I hate to bring bad news but you need a distributor ....the pickup coil is bad....mine had the same problem ..runs like a champ now try LKQ If you have one nearby
