1997 lumina 3.1

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Head casket problem for sure. I bought blue
devil I did what the instructions said. I let my
car run for 50 mins. The heat got a little over
half way then I bleed it and air is coming out
and a little spitting liquid.  Is this normal or
what do I need to do now

If you suspect the head gasket has failed, and the blue devil hasn't worked, time to tear the engine apart. What tests did you do to determine if the gaskets are bad? White smoke? Cylinder pressure test not uniform between cylinders?

Continue bleeding the system until a steady stream of coolant comes out the bleeder screw. It may take a few times as it can be tricky to get all the air out of the cooling system. HTH. -Jim
