Is a 2007 Dodge Caliber with 140,000 worth it?

Question type: Shopping & Pricing

I'm looking to buy a car for college and I found a 2007 Dodge Caliber in really great condition for about $5800. The Carfax is perfect and the car is in very nice shape. However, it already has 140,000 miles on it. Is it worth the buy for that many miles? I've heard a lot of yes' and a lot of nos.

If you like it, have a mechanic inspect it before purchase and make sure you have a grand or 2 set aside in the bank for future repairs. Any used car with 145K will be needing some TLC.
