Fuel pump issue

I have a 1997 chevy cavalier the fuel pump stopped
working it was running fine I went in to the er with
my wife come out and it won't start fuel pump
wouldn't turn on so I changed the fuel pump same
issue the dude and relay are both good

Did you check voltage and ground at the fuel pump, before replacing anything? Gray wire is voltage, black is ground. Are you missing anything else? Engine cranking you have spark at the plugs and fuel injector pulse? As far as the fuel pump, note pump/injector fuse.
