Is it difficult to replace the TPS for a do-it-yourselfer on a '07 Mustang GT

Asked by Oct 09, 2013 at 09:52 AM about the 2007 Ford Mustang GT Deluxe Convertible

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I'M a old school DIY mechanic, can I replace the TPS my self? or is it better left to a Ford Dealer? does it require a lot of disassembling to get at it on the '07 Mustang GT 4.6L?

You can replace it 2 bolts and an electrical connection. Why are you replacing it? Try cleaning it first and the thottle body w/throttle body cleaner if your idle is jumping.
