Why is my battery draining?

I have a 97 cavalier with a new battery and alternator ive
regrounded the body ground and chassis ground pulled
the radio cig lighter glovebox light anuthing I could think of
that would draw power while off and still my battery light
stays on and my battery drains overnight please help any
suggestions would be amazing im at a loss

I found a humming noise behind the glove compartment so i unhooked the hatness there and it stopped could that be the issue?
