I have been having intermitent red fluid leaks. It has turned into a small puddle. Is this transmission or power steering? I can't find where to check on either one.

Red fluid is transmission fluid. It sounds as though you have a seal leaking or perhaps a transmission cooler return line. Suggest taking this to a mechanic ASAP in order to have the problem corrected before it causes damage to the trans.
