how many gears dose the 2004 rainer cxl awd have?

when I get up to freeway speeds it sounds like it needs to shift into another
gear. It whines like it needs to shift?

i haven't looked at that! what should it be? I do know that it only shifts 3 times.

At 70 mph it should be roughly 2000-2500 rpm. At 60 maybe 1700 -2000 rpm.

Shifting three times - first to second, second to third and third to fourth.
