I have a 97 Chevy camaro & I jst replaced the coolant heater temp sensor! Before I replace the coolant temp sensor, my gages temp was showing normal temp! But since, I replaced it, the temp gages high

It could be possible the new sensor you put in could be defective.

did all the air get bled out of the top hose area?
