Every time I turn on my ac it overheats the truck. Is

It sounds like your radiator fan motor is not coming on with the A/C. This extra heat caused at the A/C condenser is heating up the radiator. So look see that the radiator fan motor >always< comes on with the A/C. Some drivers may not notice a problem at 60mph, the wind it makes on the radiator, but is heavy traffic it can overheat fast.
