94 MM 2.4 wont restart ofter a short drive, until it sits a while. No fuel in pressure line. Replaced fuel pump and main relay box. Relay gets very hot. Any Ideas? Main ECU?

Replaced fuel pump (fun) and main relay. Relay gets quite hot.  sluggish return line?

Sit at Home Depot for 20 minutes, but time varies, sometimes hours. .   Recently took 6 hours (tried at 3).  Gradually getting worse.  Bad pressure regulator, sluggish return line?

OK - This is Tom - was advised to try the ignition coil. Replaced it, and mostly OK. Very occasionally it delays restarting, but not enough to get more PO'd about.I do suspect injector problems, but resisting getting into that....
