2006 Mitsubishi Galant won't start after new battery

2006 mitsubishi galant.  New battery.  When
turning ignition makes crikling sound but won't
crank. However starts well when jumpstarted.
Battery is good.

Basic stuff first.check all wires battery/cables leading to the body/leading to the starter/leading anwhere you can snake a wire/make sure battery leads are tight.this sounds like wires to starter.give all this a shot
