Labor cost to replace engine 04 xc70

Hard to say, depends on who is doing it. Call around for some cost locally. I'd say around 12hrs labor as a guess. It's more than just the engine in some cases. Exhaust , transmission, wiring, etc all have to be removed and reinstalled.


Exactly. Plus changing the oil, filters, ussualy. Even though is about 12hrs labor, the car could stay there a couple of days at least.


$1500 to $2000 would be a rough guess. Depends on the labor rate at the service center you select.
