98 volvo v70 xc awd gas and spark but no start

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

The car intermittently ran like crap.
Sometimes, hard to start.
Then was running decent came home turned
it off and hasn't started since.
There is fuel to the fuel rail and spark to the
plugs. I have not pulled either to inspect. I
have a pair of pliers and a wood saw for
tools (my limited tools and knowledge of
cars don't really coincide). Gonna run up and
buy a spark plug socket this afternoon.
My question is... Is there a "known" problem
for these or common issue that a first time
Volvo owner might not think of... Or just
maybe something I am overlooking?

Sorry I meant I didn't pull the plugs or the fuel injectors yet.

Also needs correct timing and compression.. 4 things at proper time to run! I suspect timing is off bad probly timing belt failed or crank or cam sensor.. Get it coded n diagnose from that info.. Visually inspect belt for cam!! NOT SERPENTINE BELT..
