Why won’t my car start

My car just does a rapped clicking when I turn the
key over but won’t start what do I do

Inspect the battery cables condition. Make sure all battery cable connections are tight; at battery, at the starter and body ground. If all connections are clean and tight have your battery and charging system checked.
