I have 99 S80 T6 what would cause my fuel problem?

Asked by Jun 18, 2014 at 10:38 PM about the 1999 Volvo S80 T6 Turbo

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Ok I have a 1/2 tank of fuel. but any time I need to put my foot into it. It acts as if I'm
running out of gas. Or if I try driving at speed over 75-80 mph it just stalls out & sputters.
Its had this problem ever since I bought the car, but it would do it when I got under a 1/8 of
a tank of gas. Then it was a 1/4, then 3/8. What would cause this?

1 Answer

weak fuel pump, or pickup tube has a hole in it or disconnected.
