vehicle speed sensor repair

I want to attempt to replace my vehicle speed sensor on my 2000 s70 what are the tools and steps i must take to repair this part

it appears to be at the back of the transmission~

unscrew it...screw the new one in~

...a pliers, special slitted skirt socket (never work that good) or a vice- grips (no one's gonna look under there anyways)~

there may be VSS's on each wheel...will have to look into that if the driveshaft one isn't exactly what you need~

have you got traction control or ABS?...if you did would start lookin' at each wheel.~

not that you have intentions of traversing these planes of hell for any good reason, but interesting to know what it takes to replace this module....ooof~
